I bought this 1986 Mecury Capri for $1000. It has a 5.0 liter EFI with an AOD transmission. I have set up this gallery to showcase the pictures as I do a complete restoration on it. I'll try to put in as much helpful information as I can. I hope you enjoy it.

captocapri101 > There was some damage to the front and rear bumper covers, the body panels have very little rust but the floor pans have some holes where they meet the firewall.

captocapri101 > The interior is in pretty sad shape, but it will all be replaced with new stuff and will be black and gray.

captocapri101 > Deconstruction has begun, nothing here will be reused.

captocapri101 > Almost gutted.

captocapri101 > Finding lots of loose change, anything to help fund the project.

captocapri101 > Removal of the front nose to replace the radiator support and repare the air dam and bumper cover.

captocapri101 > The previous owner rear ended a truck and welded a piece of flat stock on the radiator support after trying to beat it back into shape. This is a total "hack" job if I ever saw one.
